Paperplanes of May.

Every year has a particular month that changes how your life has been for a period of time; let's just say that has been the reason for my absence. I don't know how often will I be around now, this summer is going to be a little more of my-space-bubble oriented, but I'll try to keep you guys posted on the happenings of ole Nil's life.

My love for pictures and summer tones be back. The camera is travelling all around in my big white bag, despite the rude heat making life difficult. My fancy phone is away at the repair shop. Thanks to my perfectly normal clumsy self, the screen of that perfectly maintained phone is now shattered. I'm using a phone as good as rock, and as last season as calling glares; "goggles".
But that's fine. There are no facilities except calling and texting, so I'm good. It's done a brilliant job at keeping me away from the human population as such, and helped secrete some serious thought process and ideas from my lazy brain that was sleeping thinking it was still winter. So it's going to be a summer of 8tracks.com, pulling every mote of thought out of my head and working on a fiction project I've decided on, and a whole lot of ice tea and mojitos. Sounds like a plan my alter ego had been craving for. Little boxes of a lot of space is going to be the mood, for this summer. And a whole lot of summer-y pictures. So until the fiction project takes a stand on paper, I'll post them pictures here and keep you entertained.
No promises, though.

Thank you SO much for all the support in the last post. This safe haven of mine breathes because of you guys, who save it from soiling away. So stay tuned. Nil can never really shut up, can she?
And a humongous Thank You to the lovely bloggers who thought of my blog being worthy of awards. I've added them to my hall of cyber fame- y'all are so kind. (:

Until I catch them paper planes of May, open them up, write on the papers and send them back to you, enjoy the obnoxiously immodest heat. Summer is bringing it on.

Muchos of love and all that jazz,
-Nil.

FullPower.

Greetings from a happy child, ladies and gentlemen!
It's precisely 3:59 am and might I add, I'm sleep deprived and absoluuuutely content. Read on (*nudges.)

Fact: The end of Boards, 2012.

So thus, this is to basically inform (shout and tear my lungs out, basically) you lovable peepol that the brutal drill of Boards are finally, finally over. You probably want to rip my head out and munch on it with coke for the Fiction overload and the mind numbing rants on the same sulk stories but... Pass it, bro. Happy days are here again. =P

April the 16th has been a legendary day, for reasons beyond academic priorities. I'm not much of a play by play person, so reciting every grain of a wonderful day at multiple levels will perhaps have to wait. Nevertheless, lets just say, April the 16th has been a pricey date for good reasons. =)

In other news, the culmination of Boards as a hard fact hasn't quite hit me just yet. I keep forgetting and gasp every time at the time, while try and calculate how many chapters might have to pull for the night.
And then this slyyyy grin makes its way through and the 32 all out are in action =D
(And I swear, Mojo Jojo's laugh hasn't been this loud in my head, ever. Ever. And then there's some of Mandark's too, occasionally.)

So this is a quick post telling you people that I have literally nothing to do for a while (except identify with the song 'These are a few of my favorite things'. Nyahaha)  and there's this mental scene of Bhangra going on in my head, all the time. =)
Oh and also, I'm off to the mountains. So I shall read books in the middle of apple farms and go diving without knowing the first letter of swimming. If I die, nobody gets my Tazo collection. They be buried with me. And now I'm just blabbering. (Oh, forgive me but I just happened to slog my 'ttub' spelled backward off the past few months and you'll just have to deal with every dime of blabber. Okay, no you don't but whatever. Please? )

And, just by the way... So I was just going to put this out there :

BOARDS OVER. BITCHES GO CRAZY, SAYS SHELDON (AND I).
(*Family members reading this blog will kindly ignore the overemotional usage of vocabulary.)

And now I shall go pack my bag with shorts and tee shirts along with flip flops.

(how long have I waited to type just everything in this post.)

Love and everything with a lot of free time,
-Nil. (Imagine the Scooby Doo smile okay? There!) :D

Summer went away, and we just weren't the same.

Summer changes me. Every time. Every summer break that does me the favor of sixty days to myself, to the scotching sun, to the sunburnt back of my neck, to white tee shirts and flannel pants, to friends, and to sitting at home with nothing but a good book and a glass of juice to my liability.
This routine happens, every year and yet, every summer I'm introduced to some magic. To some one. To some place. To myself.

Summer is when I abandon every element of hesitance. It's when I go right ahead and do the biggest mistakes of my life. Mistakes which kiss me and slap me every now and then, and laugh with me when I see myself grow from that particular sunny day when the sun was at its best. When I was walking on the streets wearing flats which seemed to have burnt holes, when the metallic rods of buses seem to burn into my skin, when I fall in love, when I fall out of love, and when I take another plunge into another insanity.
Yes. Summer is insanity.

By the end of the summer, there's one person, one place and one side of me that is stuck to my head. That is surfacing realizations of the same facts in different characters. And  those three epiphanies stay with me until next summer rolls in. And I'm introduced to another person, another place, and another side of me. Yes, summer changes me every time.

I feel happy in summers. Perhaps everything I'm writing right now sounds like a kindergartener writing an essay on what summer means to him, repeating words, nouns,verbs.. But this post is just an honest confession and something simple I wanted to write since 2008...and it's all true. And perhaps, it couldn't be more true for it sounds like a child's words. Cause every summer I realize what a child I am. I fall from stairs, I burn myself while trying to toast bread for the first time for someone special, I make an inseparable friend, I cry for my dog's cuteness, I... I just do things to feel happy. To make people happy. And to just.... live.
So yeah. I am a child. A big, crazy and wild one at that!

But with every passing summer I leave a side of that child behind... It happened last year, happened this year, and is inevitable next year.
But that's what's so amazing. Summer. Dragon flies. And realizing yourself. And your differences from a reflection that now seems younger, with a toothier grin, looking eagerly at someone at the other side of the mirror who looks a little older, mature....and well, just different.

It's true. Summer went away and we just weren't the same.
